A unique 'Smart Dentin Replacement', bulk fill, flowable composite base material, indicated for posterior (Class I and II) restorations.
The material has a low shrinkage stress, enabling bulk filling and resulting in a simplified procedure. Excellent cavity adaptation, with no voids or air bubbles, resulting in a significantly reduced risk of post-operative sensitivity.
SDR® is applied in bulk fill of 4mm increments to replace dentine and then capped with the dentists' existing standard composite.
SDR® contains a modulator which leads to controlled polymerization. Compared to the instant polymerization that occurs in conventional composites, this modulator helps to form a more relaxed network, reducing the effect of volume shrinkage and therefore resulting in less shrinkage stress.
